Banjara Greyhounds Dog Breeds



Banjara Greyhound is an extremely bright dog breed and mental training is mandatory.
First bred in: was first created in India. Even so, they are rarely present at New Delhi dog shows.
The Banjara Greyhound's shape:Banjara Greyhounds are regularly medium sized. Males will get 27 to 29 inches tall. Female dogs reach a hight of 27 to 29 inches tall. Males is 50 to 65 pounds. Female dogs grow up to 50 to 65 pounds.
The dog has mid-sized dangling ears. The legs is regularly comparably long. The Little tail is hanging low. The breed dogs have a long muzzle. The fur is of medium length.
Colors of this dog breed is sometimes black, mottled gray or blue.
Additional info about the dog: Predictable age for a banjara greyhound is 13 to 14 years. The breed may be to discover for sale in the market. The banjara greyhound were originally bred for hunting prey and predators in the less developed areas of India.

Banjara Greyhounds are believed to have originated in India

Lifespan: Around 13-14 years

Physical Attributes: Banjara Greyhounds stand at 27-29 inches and weigh between 50-65 pounds. Its head and muzzle is long and narrow with ears that lie flat against the head and almond shaped dark eyes. Its build suggests strength and agility. It has a rough silky coat black in color interspersed with gray and blue colors.
Disposition: It is known to be friendly and pleasant but not when it is working. It shows a high energy level.

Origin: It is believed that this breed was developed for the purpose of hunting prey and predators in the less developed areas of India. Since this breed is mainly restricted to certain isolated areas and because not much has been done to continue the attainment and growth of a pure breed, it is recognized by a few and not much information is available on this breed.

Environment: Since little is known about this breed and how he adjusts to his environment, you may not want to choose this as your dog unless you have enough information from the breeder.
